"Amazon is finally moving into the jam-packed restaurant-delivery business in Manhattan, with 350 local eateries taking orders on its “Prime Now” service beginning Tuesday. The new service is charging participating venues — which include John’s of Bleecker Street, Junior’s Restaurant & Cheesecake and Momofuku Milk Bar — a cut between 25 percent and 30 percent of the tab, sources said. That’s steeper than the commission charged by food-delivery giant GrubHub/Seamless, typically between 12 and 24 percent, according to industry insiders. But Amazon, unlike Seamless, is also providing delivery services as part of the deal.
