"A section of the F train will run express for the first time in nearly three decades — causing a rift between commuters in southern Brooklyn who will save time and those in Brownstone neighborhoods whose stops will be skipped. F train express service was suspended in 1987 due to track work and was never brought back even after the track work was completed.
