"Fiat Chrysler Automobiles canceled both shifts of Jeep Cherokee production in Toledo on Wednesday as the company continues to deal with a parts shortage that started early this week. The line at the Toledo Assembly Complex, which supports some 3,300 jobs, has been idled since Tuesday afternoon. Employees worked shortened shifts Monday as well. RELATED: Fiat Chrysler recalls 500K Toledo-built Wranglers FCA officials haven’t said what part they are lacking, although a United Auto Workers source told The Blade it was steering wheels.
