Newsclip®: [Sports] Lucas Duda has a back fracture, and Mets have to get creative | New York Post

"Mets first baseman Lucas Duda has a stress fracture in his back and will be out four to six weeks at minimum. 'It will be a while,' manager Terry Collins. Duda, who was batting .231 with a .297 on-base percentage and seven homers, missed four of the six games on the Mets' recent homestand due to the injury. Switch-hitter Ty Kelly was called up from Triple-A to take Duda's roster spot, and will be part of a first base committee with Eric Campbell in the short term. Wilmer Flores can be expected to get the majority of the action at first when he returns from the disabled list. And left fielder Michael Conforto will begin taking grounders in anticipation of getting a look at first base, according to Collins. Third baseman David Wright, who has struggled defensively this season, is not a consideration to move across the diamond, however.",
