"The White House says it has protested to Vietnam's government over human rights activists who were prevented from meeting with President Barack Obama. The president met in Hanoi on Tuesday with six activists, including advocates for the disabled and sexual minorities. White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes says the U.S. learned overnight that those activists were either prevented from coming or made by the government to feel uncomfortable attending, through a variety of methods.
