Hyundai Rotem's development manager, Andrew Hyer, says the weld work was designed and executed by HiCorp., a subcontractor based in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. A woman answering the phones at the company on Wednesday said no one would comment. SEPTA officials say they are still reviewing tests before saying what they believe caused cracks in the suspension system of its Silverliner V cars, and how they will make fixes. The weld in question attaches a plate to a weight-bearing beam. The sidelined Silverliners represent a third of the coaches in SEPTA's regional rail system....", www.witf.org
