    "Stanford alum Maya DiRado wins 400 IM at Olympic trials Stanford alum Maya DiRado qualified for her first Olympic team in the women’s 400-meter individual medley on a night when 11-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte failed to qualify in one of his specialties. Both women earned berths on the team headed for Rio de Janeiro at the U.S. Olympic swimming trials Sunday in Omaha, Neb.
